What is Tour de Office?

Founded in 2011, Tour De Office is an office-based cycling challenge that enables companies all around Australia to raise funds for their chosen charity, with over $1 million raised since inception.

Tour de Office takes place in the office environment where organisations across Australia host a bike for the week-long event each August/September and staff ride 30-minute legs to raise awareness about this real health risk facing office-bound workers. Tour de Office also offers participating organisations a chance to raise funds for a charity of their choice through peer-to-peer fundraising. This unique event focuses on not only making a significant contribution to a worthy cause close to their hearts but also promoting a healthy and active attitude in the workplace.

About the Opportunity 

Tour de Office now has an exciting opening for an enthusiastic and proactive Communications & Marketing Intern to join our team on a casual/flexible basis in Milton, Brisbane.

This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to grow into a paid position for the right candidate. Your hours will be flexible and designed to work with your study schedule. 

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Posting and scheduling engaging social media content in line with the strategic communications plan;
  • Working with our Communications Specialist to craft appealing newsletter and email content;
  • Maintaining documentation, records and invoicing schedules; and
  • Working through the full events management process including selling, planning and delivering the event.
